PROCEDURES
BODY SURGERY
These surgeries are intended to rejuvenate and / or correct bodily deformities, which often occur because of sedentarism, pregnancy and aging. These procedures should be performed in an operation room and with the presence of an anesthesiologist to minimize the risks involved in any surgery.
Breast augmentation
Breast size varies with hormonal development, genetic inheritance and pregnancy.
This procedure seeks to increase the size and projection of the breasts, as well as to improve the balance and harmony of the body through silicone implants.
The selection of the implant size and the technic used will depend on the expectations, needs and anatomical characteristics of each person.
Mammary Implants exchange:
It is important for patients to understand that implants have an expiration date of aproximatly 10 years, regardless of the material they are made out of. Therefore, implants require monitoring and control by a plastic surgeon.
This procedure is intended to remove and/or replace implants that have ruptured, allowing the improvement of the shape of the breasts (when necessary). It is important for the patient to attend periodic follow ups, with a plastic surgeon to check up on the implants.
.
Breast Reduction:
Reduction Mammoplasty
Exaggerated development of breast tissue leads to large breasts (breast hypertrophy). This is associated with health problems such as back pain, spinal deviation (scoliosis), moisture and infection in the lower breasts fold, chronic fatigue and / or self-esteem problems.
This procedure involves removing excess glandular and fat tissue to obtain natural-sized and shaped breasts.
Breast Lift:
Mammopexy
Women go through multiple stages in their lives such as adolescence, motherhood and adulthood. This affects the size and shape of the breasts, causing loss of volume and saggy breast.
Mammopexy modifies the position, shape and even size of the breasts, thus, improving the firmness and general aesthetics. It is often accompanied by breast implants to replace the loss of volume that occurs over the years.
Abdominoplasty:
The skin is an elastic structure capable of regaining its shape after pregnancy or weight loss. However, with aging this property is reduced. Stretch marks and excess of skin appears at the lower abdomen and is accompanied by muscle flaccidity.
Despite exercising and following a strict diet, these changes are not reversible, so the abdominoplasty becomes a useful tool to improve harmony and beauty of the abdominal region, removing excess skin in this area and tightening the abdominal muscles.
Gluteoplasty:
Both women and men seek to modify their buttocks, either by increasing size, decreasing or changing their shape in order to obtain a youthful appearance, keeping proportion to the rest of the body. When you want to increase the volume there are only 2 ways to do it: one is by transferring fat, which is obtained by liposuction. The other is to use gluteal implants to achieve the desired volume.
Liposculpture:
Fat tissue builds up in different parts of the body, sometimes concentrating on specific points such as the abdomen, hips, arms, thighs and / or lumbar region.
This surgery consists of molding and removing fat tissue that have not disappeared after diet or exercise. There are different techniques of liposuction, for example: assisted by cannulas, ultrasound and laser. Each one has specific indications and they are used according to the needs of each patient.
Abdominal etching is a technique used in liposuction aimed for people who want to have the appearance of an athletic body, as this emphasizes and defines the abdominal muscles giving the appearance of a healthy and fit body.
